Paul and Lloyd. Like two peas in a pod. Attractive, well-built, clever. And always competing with each other, when it comes to playing, studying, or questions of the heart. And research too. It doesn’t matter which of them first had the idea of becoming invisible. They both threw themselves into the challenge, as always. And as always, with the aim of getting the better of each other. Both have the goal of eliminating refractions of light, but they take two opposite paths. Lloyd chooses utter darkness, while Paul opts for transparency. They both reach their objective, and become invisible. But Lloyd can’t get rid of his shadow, and Paul can’t get rid of a flash of light. In a final, definitive competition, the shadow and the flash will measure themselves against each other. Fabian Negrin took up the challenge himself to create an extraordinary interpretation: a frenetic sequence of light and dark which, page after page, become brighter and brighter and blacker and blacker. So black that they put even the best eyesight to the test…
